Proclaim 07 - Sydney Australia - YWAM Conference
   Across Pacific Magazine

Proclamation

400 years ago the Portuguese explorer Pedro Fernandez  made the incredible proclamation above, declaring all of this great region the "Southland of the Holy Spirit". Nearly 700 YWAMers gathered primarily from Australia and New Zealand - in celebration of the above, as well as ANZAC Day - and many Pacific Islands (including Singapore, the Philippines, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, the Cook Islands, PNG, New Caledonia and more).

Featured speakers included: John Dawson, Tom Hallas, Adem Xhafer, Mark Anderson and others.

I see a greater sense of realignment with Australia and New Zealand, and the Pacific which will serve a greater purpose and make all of us strong in terms of us taking on other nations in Asia. We cannot do it alone. All the countries close to us have to contend together as one man for the sake of the gospel.     Taubale Toki (Fiji)

Proclaim Fellowship

The Worship has been fabulous...   The Holy Spirit is so moving within that.  -

Two weeks ago in prayer, I saw a picture in my mind for Proclaim of water rising and a sun rising
and setting four times. On the fifth time it stayed risen and got brighter and brighter. I realised today (Thurs) that this was the fifth day and He was going to move mightily.

In the session, Mark Anderson said that the water has to rise and cover the whole Earth before the
Son can be [fully] glorified. At that time, I saw another picture of legions upon legions of horses and
warriors outside the conference center cheering and chanting in a war cry for us to join them in
a holy battle. Angels were rejoicing as they flew overhead. A transluscent horse and rider
galloped in laps around the whole room with a staff raised high. We are truly on the verge of
something huge and I want to be a part of it!

Fijian and Samoans serving in AusI came asking God for 4 things and He answered every one. It was thought the whole conference was for me and i do not normally come to conferences. There is such joy in my heart about the way God did things.

On Anzac Day, during the time of prayer, our family went up to receive prayer as a family. Just prior to this, during the worship our ten year old son's tongue had gone numb and he couldn't speak but God gave him a word that H
Steve leads time of prayere would use him to speak to the nations. Our family would minister to other families through our ministry as Kings Kids. Our daughter (8) is going to dance with joy for God.

The Lord used the conference to confirm some of the things He's been speaking to me. This conference has helped me grow and go up to the next level in the Lord. I realise how important the call of God is on the Pacific and the role we have to contribute to seeing people come to know the Lord..
