We
also praise God for the open air meeting. After teaching on Evangelism
Muthu went with the students for Open air meeting in Malleswaram
village. There were about 400 people that came that evening for the
meeting. God used Muthu to give a powerful message on Salvation along
with his testimony. He spoke on two thieves on the cross with Jesus.
Many people received Jesus and it was surprising to see many men
receive Jesus. Then we prayed for all kinds of people with various
needs. The Lord healed some of them. We stayed in the village till mid
night and we all slept about 1.30 am in the night.
We
had a wonderful graduation for our School of Evangelism and Pioneering
(SOEP) today. It was joyous occasion. Many attended the function. The
Lord blessed us. The Lord used our students to reach many with the
Gospel during their 2 months outreach. One guy had 3 operations on his
stomach to remove a boil, but it remained there. When
our team prayed for him, the next day the boil came out, the Lord
healed him. This incident was like a wild fire that opened doors for
our team to reach many interior villages in Tripura
(North East India)
Over the next 12 days our team went from village to village
non stop and preached. Brief report-Personal Evangelism-1010 people,
Accepted Jesus-85
people, Open air meetings-5, Healing-15 (3 major healings), Decided to
take baptism-21 people, New Church attendance-101 people, Decided to go
for Missions-14 people, Gospel Litrature-1300, Children
reached-2100, Church ministry-56 churches, Backslidden believers
returned to Chrsit-75!
