We are into the final week of these nationwide campaigns
& have seen the Good news proclaimed across Fiji in stadiums &
schools before 120,000 people with
over
13,000 responding to Jesus so far.
Prayer
requests
Last week in Suva
We are looking forward to a powerful finale in Levuka & Suva this
week. Pray for a great response, fine weather & protection over all
the staff & teams.
Proclamation
of the Gospel
Fiji
is a nation in crisis on many fronts. With the military coup on
Dec 5, 2006 an already weak economy was shaken further. We likewise
have experienced many difficulties over the past 3 years preparing for
these campaigns yet have seen God’s faithfulness. During the
campaigns we have seen a lot of rain which has
also made for muddy grounds. Thousands of people stay even if it rains
to hear the Gospel & respond.
Many have also been healed & set free from demonic oppression as
the team members have prayed with them. Here are some of the 10,000
crowd in the main stadium in
Labasa, Vanua Levu
coming forward &
publicly confess Jesus as their Saviour & Lord. This was a historic
gathering according to locals never been seen before in their city.
Schools
IWT teams have gone into many schools sharing a positive
life-giving
message & in many cases preached the Gospel openly. Below shows
some of the 280 students in a Suva Hindu school giving their lives to
Christ this past week
