MILMERRAN, AUSTRALIA (ANS) -- There are many radio choices but few of them claim to change lives. Milmerran’s newest radio station has evidence to show that’s exactly what will happen.

Thanks to a community effort to establish Vision FM88.0 Milmerran locals can now tune in to positive music and talk, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Milmerran is the 237th community nationally, to gain access to Australia’s national Vision Radio Network. Milmerran is located in the Australian state of Queensland.

Vision aims to “Connect Faith to Life” through excellent contemporary music from local and international artists like Third Day, Newsboys, Rebecca St James, Paul Colman and many more. Talk also plays an important role on the station, both in touching today’s big issues from a Christian perspective, and in unpacking what the Bible has to say about life today. Amongst the regular line-up are family communicators James Dobson and Peter Janetski, Herald-Sun columnist Paul Gray, plus international speakers Greg Laurie, Joyce Meyer, Bob Gass, Billy Graham and more.

Vision is all about letting people know that they are not alone in their journey. The station exists to encourage, to provide information, and to assist Christians in helping to understand their faith - inspiring and challenging them to demonstrate it in real and practical ways. In short, Vision promotes positive change in the lives of individual listeners as well as the entire community.

Here’s some real feedback from other communities that have Vision - the kind of stories we’re likely to hear from Milmerran locals:

“I thought Christian Radio would be stuffy, out-of-touch and boring. To my surprise, Vision is far from it! Love the music, the talk shows, every minute of it.” Craig, Broken Hill, NSW

“I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate turning on your station regularly and listening to good, solid, uplifting, music, talk, EVERYTHING ... I so want to see this take off in every community everywhere in Australia, and I know some of my friends cannot even tune in yet. Just want to say thank you all, and may how you bless others return sevenfold.” Shirley, Horsham, VIC

“I am so thankful for this station. I have not stopped listening to Vision since I was told about it. You have found the perfect balance of fantastic teaching and a huge selection of fab music ... thank you.” Liz, Perth, WA

“Words cannot express how blessed we are to have Vision Radio in Chinchilla. A travelling businessman, who remains anonymous even to us, was reading our local paper on one of his business trips. When he read that we were raising money for a Vision radio station, he contributed $1000 to help towards it because, on his travels, he liked to tune in to Vision and Chinchilla was one town that was missing out. It is really awesome to us that a total stranger would care so much!!!” Sharon, Chinchilla, QLD
