Sky Angel productions gives birth to
Halo Baby
a new TV and DVD series

By Michael Ireland

NAPLES, FLORIDA (ANS) -- Geared toward babies and toddlers, "Halo Baby" -- produced by Sky Angel, with its new sister company, Sky Angel Productions, LLC -- introduces young viewers to faith in a fun and educational way. "Halo Baby" Sky Angel's first full-length television series.

The series recently made its national television debut on Sky Angel's kids' network, KTV, and its release on DVD took place at an exclusive Christmas concert and launch party in Naples, where Sky Angel is headquartered, on November 28.

The event featured critically acclaimed composer, singer and entertainer Paul Todd and drew more than 400 people. Todd produced the original music featured in the "Halo Baby" series.

By using a variety of images, colors and numbers set to exclusive "babyfied" classical and orchestrated music by Todd, "Halo Baby" provides interactivity combined with learning.

The series is designed so the baby can interact and identify animals, animal sounds, numbers and colors. As a bonus feature, the DVD also teaches baby hand signs; in addition, parents have the ability to choose shorter viewing times for their child, with the episode broken down into five-minute segments so parents have complete control over how much video the baby will be able to view.

"We want to entertain as well as educate about basic skills such as counting and colors but also introduce to them the idea of faith in God and Jesus Christ with simplistic messages like, 'God made the animals' and 'Jesus loves you,'" said Kathleen Johnson, president of Sky Angel Productions. Johnson is an Emmy®-Award-winning producer
with more than 20 years of experience in television.

The concept for "Halo Baby" originated from Johnson while having dinner with parents of a two-year-old. "After watching toddler videos, the parents happened to mention the need for toddler/infant videos that were both educational and faith-based," said Johnson.
"That's when the idea for 'Halo Baby' was birthed."

The "Halo Baby" series' first episode, "Babies Love Animals!" is available on DVD for $14.99 at www.halobaby.tv.
