Help spread the word - a message from Producer David Cunningham
Dear Friends,
Please see the following link
and spread the word to
watch the movie I directed - THE PATH TO
9/11 on ABC September 10th and 11th. It
is a multi part film not a documentary - on the events leading up
to
9/11. It is told from the CIA, FBI, White
House and terrorists perspective and based upon the 9/11
Commission Report.
It is starring Harvey Keitel,
Patricia Heaton, Donnie Whalberg and a fantastic cast of almost 250
actors from 14 countries. We filmed in Toronto, Morocco, New York,
Washington D.C., and one of only a few films ever to be allowed to film at the CIA headquarters at Langley.
I have spend a year and half working on this show along with an amazing
team of filmmakers.
We need your help to spread the word as there are so many 9/11
TV shows out there. Please send this to everyone you know and be sure to check out the link. Together we can make
this a cultural even that will impact the nation.
Thanks a bunch,
David [Cunningham]

" 'Path' maybe the most comprehensive and
powerful retelling of stateside terrorism yet." Mike McDaniel,
Houston Chronicle, 8/14/06
"One of this year's most
powerful 9/11 stories, is, in fact, ultimately about
how little has changed since that day. Fast paced and shot with
handheld cameras, 'Path' plays like a somber, dysfunctional '24,'
with all the grit. Executive producer Marc Platt hired director David
L. Cunningham, a documentary veteran, to give the movie a verite look, without
emotional tricks like zooming in on fraught moments. The last few
minutesinside the planes, the towers and the conference rooms on 9/11are tastefully handled, though no less
chilling. But they're beside the point. What matters is what happened
before and what happenedand didn't afterward. An epilogue notes the
commission's report card, issued last December, which found that most
of its
recommendationssecuring weapons of mass destruction, delegating
antiterrorism funds by riskhave been carried out badly or not at all.
That endnote is the scariest thing in the mi niseries." James
Poniewozik, Time magazine, 8/7/06
